This is the biggest issue I have with all of this. The number of players being illegally contacted/recruited is ridiculous and the NCAA doesn't bother to investigate.

They wont until the SEC complains, it JUST MEANS MORE when they do.

Here's a rule everyone should follow with the transfer portal. Don't talk down on a player leaving for the portal while also being happy getting a kid coming in from the portal. Can't have it both ways.

Any chance of getting number 9 another year of eligibility?

No, I think we can. It wasn't our decision for the portal out; the portal in was only made to replace the player. I hope I am happy with whomever we bring into our program.

IMO

Most of the players in the portal will probably never play college football again. The numbers just do not support it.
