Every single time me and Roarman talked or texted he kept bringing up how Allred would be a big time player and have a great career at UL.

Comparing pro to college. Have you ever attended a pro fastpitch game? I am not posting to knock Glasco's coaching ability or acumen. Just saying that with the professional games that I have attended, the ladies pretty much coach themselves. The head coach just makes the starting roster. I am not really sure if he/she even picks the starting pitcher or if the general manager does. Not sure the number of pro titles won is the evidence you want to use when gauging someone's college coaching acumen.

General manager picks the starting pitcher? That's funny!

And would say that if Graeter hadn't suffered her knee injury, she would be in this conversation. She was seeing the ball better than any Cajun hitter in the fall and had the hottest stick imo before getting injured. Why she didn't have surgery and take a medical red-shirt simply confuses me.

In pro fastpitch? Absolutely, in some instances. Do you have any idea how small some of these staffs are? In some instances, the owner is the general manager. Depending on which team is playing which, I wouldn't be surprised to see the GM override the coach in picking a pitching starter for a particular game if he thinks it could generate more interest and create more ticket sales.

When I stated this about Graeter on this site a few folks said I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about. Thanks for clarity and seeing what I saw. As always anything Mark says I agree with.

That is not true.

Hey, don't contradict the Pengiun.
Penguins are highly regarded for recognizing the signs.
Me and you, not so much. ;)

I noticed Sam Graeter was a courtesy runner last night. To be honest, I haven't been tracking her this year, but, if she ran (with a brace on), she may be just about ready to resume full itme duties?
