I’m not dooming. Comments are in a vacuum (last 3 weeks).
We have the talent and the experience to get dramatically better by season end. But right now, it’s not good. I’m mostly aggravated with how we manage.

Are you suggesting these moo state pitchers were good? Because I only saw one that was above average at the end of the game.

Stuff wise, yeah. They’re good.

Starter was filling the zone with 95-96 and a filthy slider. Back end guy was a huge arm.

The lefty was also better than most of the SBC teams will have, outside of the top contenders.

Our guys had good enough stuff tonight too. But you can not commit 2 errors and walk 4 or 5. You also cant leave the bases drunk and 2 runners on two more times and get nothibg. Thats what lost the game

First guy was too wild to be consistently good. Decent stuff though.

Back end guy had one pitch, but it was 97.

Everyone in between was no better than the pitching we’ve seen with Campbell / Rice / Some BYU.

But Arkie State has one guy and that’s about it.

Stuff or not, they didn’t impress me outside of Dome. Not a single arm they brought out was dominate. We just didn’t execute well per usual.

Still time to get it fixed as StAte isn’t a world beater but there was nothing to write home about in Starkville that I saw.
