Have you not seen the latest UL promotion? 39 degrees? No problem, each fan who dresses like they're hunting duck, geese, deer, or turkey will be given a vouchur for a free stadium hot dog and beer at the game. The thinking behind this is that marketing knows folks would rather sit in a stand or blind for 3 or 4 hours in such weather instead of attending a UL football game in the same weather. Brilliant!

Yes, there is a bus going. 1 bus. Not promoted. Called since last Monday inquiring. They took my name and will have a bus. I don't believe they really want it. But enough people bugged them about it, they caved. If they would promote, they could get 4 or 5 busses. Too much work. Just my opinion.

Looks like an artic Siberian blast coming that day. Hopefully it changes as a lot can change in a 11 day forecast. History shows it’s always cold and rainy for the Indy Bowl. looks Like tickets are selling nicely now. Should have a decent crowd if the snow, sleet, rain holds out. Either way I’ll be there with my crew.

I was told by them that there will be 2 buses.
Re: Indy Bowl Ticket Info
Well this sucks. I guess I need to call (from a rotary phone) from now on. Can’t use any 21st century methods. Definitely would have gone on bus
Re: Indy Bowl Ticket Info
Great if 2 buses, might overwork the staff. Just imagine if they would market the buses, might of needed 6. Would have to hire extra staff.

To loosely quote Bum Phillips
'Twice as good as its been in a while, half as good as it could be.'
ps BP was speaking on the effort Chuck Muncie was putting out.

If this is true, this is completely and totally unacceptable. This is the kind of stuff that keeps our alumni away, keeps our support low and give credence to the idea that UL really doesn't want to be successful in Athletics.
May I ask who you called? Don't need a name, if you don't want to give it. But the number or office you called?
Re: Indy Bowl Ticket Info
USL still thinks bussing to a game is similar to busing for integration.
Welcome to the 21st Century, Louisiana. Get 5 or 6 busses. This is the good kind of bussing . . . Go Do It . . . C’mon Man
