If Robe would not have died I think some of you would have figured out a way to hate him also .

Hud was an embarrassment to our university and fanbase. The most exposure he would bring us was an off the field or locker room story every blue moon. He also didn’t have enough control or discipline to run a clean program. His biggest wins here have been vacated.

Same deal with Jessie. When’s the last time you’ve been to the Cajundome? Look at the banners in the rafters. Couple of missing tournament appearances aren’t there.

Billy doesn’t care how UL fans feel about him now. Why are you upset about it?

At some point Desormeaux will have to leave himself enough wiggle room to posses the abilty to fire an underperforming assistant.

While Coach Huds off field issues and ultimately in field decline lead to his demise here at the university, I remember that he went out with some class himself and published a full page ad the paper thanking Cajun fans and the admin. We also consistently acknowledge the positive s that HUD helped bring to our program to get us where we are now like fan involvement, APC etc

I don’t think we had any “hate” for HUD like the poster says. Not at the time when he was fired or now. Jmo
