Actually, it should say "at" rather than "@". Since we are talking legality of our name, the university logo also says University of Louisiana Lafayette (with Lafayette italicized). It should say Unversity of Louisiana at Lafayette. Below is our logo. Also below is the University of Texas at Austin logo. I wish our logo were more like this with the greater emphasis on TEXAS. Seems to me we should use our correct, legal name for official university business. Maybe part of the reason people call us Louisiana Lafayette is because that is what our logo says.Quote:
