Didn't see it already here when posted...merge away turb
Looks like a nice deal if you're not staying in NO and don't want to drive!
That's part of the problem and is probably causing this delay with tickets being delivered. There is no limit to the number of tickets an RCAF member, or season ticket holder, or anybody, can order at one time. One RCAF member could order 500 tickets to ensure his/her buddies sit together (not me, I don't have 5 buddies much less 500).
I am assuming we must have sold out the availble seating on our side, at least for the number of tickets you were blocking.
There have been posts on here degrading the process for how the ticketing was handled. I don't think anybody was trying to screw anybody out of tickets; just the opposite. I think the athletic department was trying to reward the very group of people that are making it possible to upgrade Coach Hud's contract (as well as the assistants, etc.).
So don't be mad about the process; get on board and help us get better every year!
Next year I expect it will be a more streamlined approach as well BUT we still need you and everyone to get on the RCAF and season ticket holders train! You will be happier AND you will be helping out, no matter what level of giving.
Geaux CAJUNS!
Section 145 79 tickets in our group
This is such a very important point people seem to be overlooking. We have been bowl elgible before and spent the bowl season at home. ANYTHING that could be done to improve our chances should have been done - this may/did cause delays with tickets being available but what would people be complaining about if we weren't going ... "what is the athletic department doing to help get us in a bowl game?".
The game is still over a week away; how soon do you need your tickets?
It was not just a simple task of selling a ticket; there are many factors that went into this process ... let's go enjoy a bowl game!
Geaux CAJUNS!
Throw in a couple of Hooters girls serving cool beverages for the ride and he might fill it up! Great ideas, glad to see people are making it almost impossible to not be able to attend the greatest event in Cajun history!
On another bright note, apperently Marcus Gibson was granted another year of eligibility yesterday
Where is everyone going to tailgate in New Orleans I have a trailer that I would like to bring to Tailgate with we Have TV, Music, and Keg beer if anyone would like to party with us. Just need a location to park it. Please help. Thanks
Hope you can come down, I'd like to meet some of your fans. I was at U(S)L when we played you back in the '70's, and I was stationed in SD when I was in the Navy.
On a neutral site, I'd give you guys the edge. But this is no neutral site, and I suspect the crowd noise will surprise your team. With that, west coast teams often struggle with southern teams. That's why the Big West booted us out way back when, we were winning too much, and we weren't even all that good.
Either way it should be a good game, and I'm glad to have you guys as an opponent.
Spread the word in Louisiana.
