Hard to get off when you are gassed because you have been on the field for the entire 1st half. Texas stacked 15 guys in thr box and we still could not hit a wide open WR in the flat. 60% of the blame is on your 5th year QB

He is that indeed. And Card was damn good as well. I think that will make a lot of noise this season. And I really hope that turns out to be true.

I'd say 103 on 20 carries is accomplishing that goal. I don't think those 4 yards were the difference in the game. He had a long of 19.
Chris Smith had 11 carries for 55 yards. That pace is 100 yards on 20 carries. He had a long of 27
Correct.
Our top 2 RBs played just as well as their All-American. We will be fine at RB.

Card looked incredible.

Their top 3 tacklers were Line Backers.
Louisiana's top 2 tacklers were Defensive Linemen.
Their top DL tackler was 6th on their list.
Louisiana's top LB tacklers were 4th and 5th
Our DL ate their lunch. If they would have called all the holding penalties we’d still be playing today.

That he did!! He was poised, confident, ran effectively and threw into tight spaces . Like I said before , I thought Colt Mccoy was playing .

Texas needs better OL play if they really want to contend in the Big12 this year.

This x1000. They called many holding penalties on Texas. They could have called a lot more. It was brutal.

UL lost to a CARD ShARK

And our lack of film on Card and their new players didn't help. With all our returnees there is plenty of film. Especially on Levi. Their defensive game plan to rattle him worked. Our offense became stymied afterwards

So I agree with all the kudos given here to card. I knew we were in deep do-do when, despite the fact that we sacked him….what, 4-5 times?…., he just kept going and going, and the sacks never really effected the game. That says a whole lot more about him than us. But you are right: if they don't do something about their o-line they could be in trouble further in the season.

For Louisiana:
First 10 offensive plays of the game were run/pass 5/5
Last 10 offensive plays of the game were run/pass 0/10
Do you think TX knew UL would start with a 5/5 balance?
