Re: Time to give Brad Boyd a shot.
Fine, hire David Patrick. Put Brad on staff and watch the magic.

That’s where he was associate HC last year. Check the record.

I agree.
Milk the process.
High school recruits need to know basketball exists at Louisiana.

Oh yeah let’s not even talk about the support a change would garner. Brad would triple the attendance.
But sure, let’s put our noses in the air and think this program is too good for Brad.
"Runs a robust youth program"? Am I hearing this right? Geezus, being a successful college coach has nothing to do with how good of a youth coach you are. I'd argue that most, if not all, successful college coaches have no experience in running youth programs because they were too busy contributing to higher level programs and gaining experience there....

CS Lewis and the inner ring (rebounders) replacement cycle in action. It’s a natural progression. A new inner ring is coming, but it always leaves someone out. It’s not a knock or fault on anyone, it’s simple human nature. It happens very slowly then bam, it’s here.
Entertainment value is pretty good. Popcorn?

Same presently can be said about UL basketball. The same logic as the rebounders…nobody cares, it’s why things are bad, but that’s ok. It’s not the coach’s fault.
Besides, Winston had a good run.
Re: Time to give Brad Boyd a shot.
Kellen Sampson (son of Kevlin Sampson, HC at Houston). Kellen has been a long time assistant at Houston but also coached as an assistant at App State and Sam Houston.
Just my opinion....
