Walker Howard to Louisiana

I'm glad Walker is coming to be a Cajun. It's good for the program and he may be a perfect fit. Time will and you can't have too many good players. Welcome to UL Walker (assuming he does indeed enroll in Jan 25.)

Ole Miss has been successful with transfers who have experience. The last two years, they had a back up from OK State that beat out Walker for the 2 spot as well. They will likely have guys come in and may very well have experience. Simmons is just that talented.

A lot of players enter without a guaranteed landing spot. If Des wants a transfer why not get one with game experience somewhere else? Why bring in a player with zero experience? At least Lunch and Beale will have knowledge of the system.

Maybe because there is no QB with experience that he believes is good enough that he can also get to come here. This isn't done in a vacuum. It's not just what Des wants, but what he can get.

This. You just never know. LL2 was said to be by some everything and a bag of chips QB. That worked out, but he wasn’t going to be QB1 at UL.

If the transfer happens then we welcome Walker to Ragin Cajun Football. If not then so be it. Either way, our the young men in our QB room will need to put in work to take the reigns. Ben and Chandler have both worked hard since they've been here and set the bar.
