It looked it from my personal perspective.
Obviously not all players are like that. Emani Bailey likely knew before NOLA Bowl he'd be joining his brother at TCU, but that dude was built different. Glad he stayed on with us for that last game.
I had to rewatch the game on espn+ to see if we really played as bad as I saw from the endzone. Well we did, but I also saw a certain tight end on at lease one occasion, totally ignore blocking someone which would of allowed a nice gain on the play. Instead the runner was blown up for a few yards gain.
It didn't cause us to lose; Marshall took care of that. But I noticed it as odd, and now I find out why.
I don't wish him any ill but I am certainly not rooting for him. I'll save that for the CAJUNS; they deserve it!

I will say he did look checked out saturday night. Whether it was due to score, impending transfer portal, or both.

I heard since week 6 of the season Carter, Washington, Davis and a few others were being illegally contacted. None of this news is surprising. Sadly, we hear this culture BS every year and now none of these guys will play in the bowl game. Whether we won the conference or not, these guys made money decisions and probably wouldn't have played against any other team. I'm about done with it.

Not playing, so that makes sense.

Seems like a lot of ex-UL players end up with buyers remorse when it comes to the transfer portal. They forget that the money schools are telling all the potential kids the same story with money and only a small few are going to get it.

I really hope they end up graduating with a degree that makes them employable in the real world if they don't make the NFL. Otherwise, chasing $200k, a portion of which likely goes to whomever marketed you, and not knowing what to do with it won't be good.
