It is where you lay the foundation for your mental toughness and discipline for the year. You can’t have kids spread throughout Lafayette during that time and expect them all to be doing the right thing. I am curious to see how that is handled next year.
Billy Napier or Hudspeth weren't keeping upper classmen in the dorms. Ask Levi Lewis and Ken Marks where they lived during and after the season.

Not sure why you are making this point here? No one ever said anything about where players live during a semester. We talking about training camp. And yes both Billy and Mark brought them all to one dorm under one roof to be closely monitored and make sure they do nothing but eat, drink, and sleep football for those days. Discipline and structure in everything you do. No outside distractions. Hud even had them all travel to and fro the athletic complex together via transit buses. I would venture to say that since the abolishment of the athletic dorm 99% of FBS coaches do that during camp.

Correct. Agree 100%

100% is a lot of percent . . .

Again for clarification, do you think all the players were moved from apartments and into the dorms during training camp under Hudspeth or Napier?

No. I don’t think they were. I know they were.

You are correct. I have a family member that is a 5th year Covid Sr next year. He has lived off campus since his Sophomore year. Every year Billy would make them move into the dorms together for camp. This was the first year they didn’t all live in the same dorm for camp since his freshman year in 2019.
