He will have earned it too, but IMHO it’s not healthy for the program.
I agree because we've been inconsistent at best and have routinely fallen under expectations and you're right, he would have earned an extension although I'd like it to be on the shorter side but I don't think longterm it is best for the program but I won't scuttle a season like we are having with the hopes he falters. I guess it is what it is.

With NIL and portal, it’s a different game . . . Roster will have to be rebuilt every year in basketball . . . it will be interesting to see what he can do with the tools he is provided . . .

Which is why I suggested saving $400k of his salary and use that for NIL. Or buy better home games.

Yes, but in the Louisiana/SBC environment, $2.5 million in paychecks between efforts does not qualify as "again."
