Re: NCAA SB Final: Louisiana 2, LSU 0
I didn't want to post this earlier for fear of angering the Softball Gods...
But when State softball faces a team that scores first, this year they are 11-13. And almost all of the games they won, were when the other team scored only 1 run, and often they scored that run in the top of the 1st.
The reason I spent a good 5 minutes of my life (THAT I WILL NEVER HAVE BACK) compiling those numbers, is because I was wondering how State responds to adversity.
We rattled 'em, and they don't have much time to regroup.
Re: NCAA SB Final: Louisiana 2, LSU 0
Glasco now has the toughest decision he will have to make in his coaching career to this point. Does he throw Lamb or does he throw Summer? Lamb gave up only three hits over seven innings. Summer gave up seven hits and five runs in two thirds of one inning. I say the decision he should make is to start Lamb.
Re: NCAA SB Final: Louisiana 2, LSU 0
But how tired is Lamb right now?
Re: NCAA SB Final: Louisiana 2, LSU 0
Her adrenaline is probably through the roof!!
Re: NCAA SB Final: Louisiana 2, LSU 0
Amen.. nice to get a revenge game in. I agree with other poster , who's pitching is a biggie.

It is. But adrenaline can't take you through an entire game.

Does she look tired to you? She's still humming it at 66-67.

Can’t think of a better game Lamb has pitched. 14 shutout innings in regional. This is the pitcher Coach has been talking about as our future. She has blossomed for sure. Big hill to climb now. I believe in miracles. Come on Summer. One more gem.

This is one of the rare times that I will be delighted to be proven wrong...
