Anything less will be a major disappointment for all of us, regardless of how many new faces will have to settle in the program.
Actually, we play S. Alabama before Tulane so make that 3-1. After Tulane, we play NMSU, so we should be minimally 4-1 at that point hosting App State and possibly even 5-0.

I know it sounds outlandish, but the pieces are in place. With an o-line holding it's blocks and AJ can get to the corner when no one's open, this makes the field seem that much bigger to the opposing defenses.
I hope we come back to this post at the end of the year......
I really think we are looking at a 9 win year.
I haven't watched AJ enough to judge my lsuambr friends say he can't hit the side of a barn. Very inaurate.

Hard to hit the side of a barn when you stick an "athlete" in a pro-style offense and make him stay in the pocket while SEC defenses are swarming around him. You get him in space (roll-outs, playactions, etc.) where he can make plays with his legs.
Crystal Ball Projections (If full season is played) - Our QB's tend to miss time every year.
Passing: 2800 yrds / 18 TD's
Rushing: 900 yrds / 10 TD's
Totals: 3700 yrds / 18 TD's
AJ is Gautier and Broadway morphed into one person. The difference is better mechanics, faster, bigger, & smarter.

I see now, I inverted those two games. Yes, I agree with that assessment as well. I will take 3-1 after the first four games, but lets see what we have and I will feel better about those records.

LSU fans are not known for their level headed analysis

If AJ has this type of season, the Cajuns will win +9 games.

I don't think he was ever the type of "pro style" QB that miles' creams over. He is more the type of player Hud looks for in the shotgun and I think we have a chance to see him do some Broadway type things before Broadway was hurt.
Miles is an imbecile who can't locate his own orifices without a competent assistant. Most LSU fans know this and accept it.
Re: Game Thread (Louisiana vs Boise St)
Plus his offenses have always been built around the running game....ground and pound -
"3 yards and a cloud of dust" type mentality. He has yet to recruit a QB and have him flourish. He recruits stud athletes or dual-type guys, then slams them into a handcuffed role.
