Hey I'll buy my own beer but Ronnie is gonna have to go get them

Two things that worked against this team.
1. Blowout losses to Indiana State (FCS) and a horrible Navy team.
2. Scheduling money games versus Kentucky (who they should have beaten) and LSU.
Yeah, I feel sorry for them. Kinda like they, I'm sure, felt sorry for us when Fenroy, Dez, et al got shut out out of a bowl their senior year. It sucks when that happens.
Running a 5K at the dome on Saturday morning, finishes up at the 50 yard line inside the dome, then our crew will be warming up for game time all afternoon! Can't wait!
Picked ours up today, section 249 rows 1 and 2! Pleased with the seats! Can't wait to see the dome filled with Red!
Why not just enjoy the kindness and selfless act for what it is........no negative future spin needed. People do nice things for people all the time......we should be 100% applauding there generousity. Hope they fill the dome with underpriviledged kids if resources allows.
I got 8 tickets in section 149. Looks like we're gonna be right in front of the band. Kinda wish I would be in the section with most of the students (especially cause I put down my deposit early) but I'm just happy that I'll be there.
How about their attendance (or lack there of) this season? That had to factor in.
I applaud their actions also 1000%. I also made the suggestion that we match their generosity with some of our own. I do not expect ANYTHING, not one single thing in return. The knowledge of having spread a little christmas cheer by helping some kids from New Orleans sport some UL gear, while they enjoy the game would be reward enough.
Anyone who tries to make anything out of it beside that is spinning to hide their own selfishness. I too saw the thread on San Diego's website & then followed it up by going Marshall's foundation website. I brought up the idea with the thought that someone on here would say hey, you know what, that's a great idea. Why don't we get off our lazy selfish behinds & show the community of New Orleans that we also have civic pride & want to show those guys a good time. Forgetaboutit.
I tell you what Johnnyboy. If anyone backs out after what was said yesterday, without coaching another season, they would instantly become the most infamous perriah in this school's history. Believe me, if you haven't followed this website, that is saying something. I don't blame you for wishing though.
I agree. It's hard to beat natural geographic rivals that make sense. I think the Sunbelt is in the drivers seat right now. Everyone wants to switch i.e. the grass is greener but to me now is not the time because there seems to be so much uncertainty. What happens when the Big East loses its BCS status? Will these schools still want to spend all this money traveling. I wonder what would happen if the Legislatures said join the the conference you want but the State is only putting up $1.98 for travel you put up the rest? I think we need to be practical. I do want to keep Hud and he deserves to be paid more. I hope we will say the same thing about Marlin but the jury is still out. See ya'll at the NO Bowl - Geaux Cajuns!
This is an awesome idea to sell more tickets. It not only benefits SDSU, but helps out kids who probably could not afford a ticket. Also it puts butts in the stands.
an dhow many NO athletes will they be recruiting between now and the 12th of never? LOL!
I don't think I would ____ on WKU if it was on fire!
WKU's angst should be aimed at UCLA not UL.
I've got news for you people. They don't feel bad for you. The first chance that school gets to put the screws to UL they will. They are the EVIL EMPIRE of the Sun Belt & you feel sorry?
I am in total agreement with you Bandwagon King. I cannot pull for that goat loving school. There is a lot more bad blood between these two schools than their jealous rant. Baseball, basketball, all problems in the past.
Per BOP do not lose all your non conference games, do not lose to a FCS school, do put a lot more people in the seats than around 15K.
I suppose there might be a circumstance that I could feel sorry for the WKU fans, but I cannot think of it.
