How to pack Cajun Field against Texas State?

As an update to the above, CBS Sports updated their FBS rankings for this week:

Texas State: 52 (up 11)
Louisiana: 89 (up 6)
South Florida: 92 (up 6)
UAB: 122 (down 1)

So yeah…ESPN opting to show the lesser matchup game on 2 has to be solely because of the 1-4 Trent Dilfer on the sidelines, because if it was about a matchup between better quality G5 teams, it would be us vs Texas State getting shown on that channel.

Dilfer blew up on a few of his assistants last week on the sideline. Like dressed then down on tv. They have their story line for the game and will beat it to death.

Coincidentally (perhaps not) LaTech posted some similar job postings for director of ticket operations, and assistant. Wonder if there was some inter-athletic office communication between both universities or their admins.

Hopefully they can bring in some that understand the cULture and change things for the better.

Trey has been working on this since he got here. It is good to see this.

Am I the only one surprised that an organization with an 8 figure athletic budget didn't already have these employees?

I think it has been an ongoing initiative. I remember Dr. Maggard alluding to an outbound sales team (maybe in a pod with Jay?) being put together leading up to the reno of CF.

Probably hard to earmark funds for those positions when you're coming out of COVID operating $6 million in the red...but you gotta spend money to make money and all.

opening squirrel season which is a legit one in Louisiana
Homecoming for alot of High schools around the state.
Who is TX State? well we fixing to find out! They are very good. Best opponent on the Home schedule coming to CF.
