Another mediocre bob Marlin team defense?
Stove should not be our leading scorer
Washington something like 1 of 9 from the floor. Can't have that. We missed way too many inside shots
Face it we choked. Only question is who gets fired next. Marlin or Hud??

I'd like to see how many shots ole miss blocked
Bobby Paschal would have smashed a chair over somebodies head back in the 80s. And I'm talking about a metal chair. O well the football team can still salvage the weekend
And Bobby would have been ok cause its Mens sports and it was the 80s. No soft people back then.
Although I wanted the win, I like what I saw. Definitely some positives to take away from this. We know what we have in Bryce. Could be a different game with the normal Bryce. Game was closer than the final indicated. I'm not worried about him in the least.
Looked like we were making it a game again after Russell nailed a three... to cut the lead to 6 - then got hit with the freshman stupid mistake technical... Never really threatened after that... Russell will be a difference maker, along with the transfers.
I'm excited! Going to be a good year!
If this team can clean up the lapses of sloppiness, they can be very good.
Just saw Georgia Southern won at Wake Forest last night, between them and UTA, the top of the Sunbelt will be stacked.
Georgia State also blew out Georgia State recently in a hurricane relief exhibition game. As far as the Cajuns go, inability to finish near the basket consistently has been a problem here for a decade and continued to be last night. Also, a problem from last year was a factor in the second half and that was stopping dribble penetration. Much of that came when the dribbler had help from a pick and the Cajuns seemed to struggle figuring out if a switch was supposed to occur or not. In addition to that, the defense did not force the dribbler to the left nearly often enough. Communication or lack thereof may have been a factor. Poor shooting is one thing which every team goes through for a stretch. You have to be solid on defense in order to stay in the game when that occurs and the Cajuns did not play nearly at the level needed to win a road game against quality competition. Officiating had little to do with those problems.
