Which i have heard all before, if we put that on the helmets the Cajuns or Ragin Cajuns would not be on the uniform! Well you know what i say to that Indiana doesn't mind, Ole Miss doesn't mind etc.
Personally i dont care what we use. All i know it is needed

I assuming everyone on this board lives in around Acadiana! I promise you the rest of rhe U.S. its ULL Louisiana-Lafayette. Very few and far between they say Louisiana. We do have a crisis.
Now the University has been making strides in this area. For example ESPN sports tickers etc. we need a logo that says exactly who are that we can put on hats, that is interchangeable with Ragin Cajun. I am fine with stacked Ragin Cajuns being primary, but we need something that identifies us as Louisiana.
For example Penn State, Florida, Arkansas there main logo is there nickname Lions, Gators, Razorbacks but still have a logo that represents the school itself!
That is what we need!

So we were talking football helmets / uniforms and now you are switching to a more broader conversation on logos.
Yes, every school has multiple logos. Always had an interlocking logo with our school name incorporated. We have the UL interlocking logo. Before that we had a USL interlocking logo.
When was the last time you went to a UL baseball game? I wore my UL baseball hat with the interlocking logo last night and this morning. Have my Cajuns script shirt on to go with it.
Boy only if I had a hat that had "Louisiana" across it. That would complete the outfit.

You see it at the Tigue, Cajun Field, Softball stadium? We have completely gotten away from it. I dont see it on any official sports uniforms or anywhere that’s official! We have completely gotten away from it, personally i think the reason why is because they might be sued over using the interlocking UL. Thats what i assume
We did at one time!
If that is the case we need a logo that says we are UL without actually using the U, so whatever form that may take the state, a letter whatever.

Louisiana, Silhouette of Louisiana or L should be on EVERY single solitary uniform Louisiana wears . . . black is by far the slickest uniform color we wear and as every single Louisiana sports team wears it, it has become a school color by CUSTOM . . . nothing is more powerful than LOUISIANA and CUSTOM
