Ole miss walks off Bama. I’m sure that helps too.
Not sure any of them are a big deal but all of them definitely help our cause.

Both being top 20 RPI not sure . We played both and lost to both. Don't believe it is a big change for us come seeding time.

I thought venue was also a factor in hosting?

Utah sweeps Oregon. That certainly helps our cause.

Zero factor. The committee job isn't to worry about the facilities.

I don’t think that’s something Louisiana needs to worry about.

Well if we do host the top awning over the press box and suites could use a major pressure washing.
Re: Eric Lopez Regional SB Predictions.
As long as UL wins it all, that means Marshall got beat. Hopefully someone beats the brakes off Louisiana Tech 2.0.

They have used facilities as an excuse to keep an unwanted out, but you are right, they haven't rewarded having a state of the art ball park.

I think that what it does is make Baylor a national seed and host if the season were to end today. They had an RPI ranking of 17 entering today. Maybe they are Top 16 RPI after today's win ... maybe not. If not, they are taking a hosting spot from someone in the RPI Top 16. The sweep vs. Texas was impressive ... they are the only team to defeat Oklahoma ... and are 8-8 vs. the RPI Top 25. They also have a couple of road wins vs. Tennessee.

I hope they host. They were projected to be the #2 seed in the Lafayette regional. I think Monday or Tuesday Eric will post his new prprojections.
Re: Eric Lopez Regional SB Predictions.
Not sure how official this is, but according to D1 Softball, we moved into the #9 spot.

If that holds, we are most certainly going to host.
