Re: RESULTS - Ragin' Pagin' Forum Demographics
So right at 65% of respondents were at least 45 years old. A little surprised the nonRCAF number was that high, but I guess I shouldn’t be with only 2,000 members total.

Even thou not scientific, it is real data UL can use to see they need to wake up when it comes to growing support. Would love to see the correlation of age AND RCAF membership. See how many are simply at the bracket of aging out. What is UL doing to replace long time donors? As Stevie P says small sample size, but with only 2k RCAF members, 120 is 5%+.

Watching the stros.
Re: RESULTS - Ragin' Pagin' Forum Demographics
I have long suspected that Louisiana was ignoring half their audience.
Don't ignore Lafayette, it's half your base but definitly do an outreach to the other half of your base.

Right. You do some outreach in the heart of Acadiana parishes and you get a potential 25% boost in ticket sales/interest.
Re: RESULTS - Ragin' Pagin' Forum Demographics
A bias to also consider is that traditional Internet forums across the web have been aging, as younger internet users stick to social media sites/apps.

Forgot about the WS. Thanks!
Was watching ECU/BYU. 17 all at half.
FWIW ECU wins at BYU on walk-off line drive FG 27-24.

The reason that number is like it is, is because UL has chosen to carry it's brand on the chittiest radio platform in Louisiana for decades. It's hard to draw fans when you can't reach anyone outside of Scott, La. This site Has been the number one way to reach UL fans & supporters for years & years now. And the only way to get any decent information, or be able to communicate with each other about the program is this site & the few podcasts we have going on. The papers are virtually disengaged now & the GOAT is just horrible.

Those numbers look like a trump rally

Many have proposed this or similar…give all first time graduates a free first year of membership within 2 years of graduation. Gives grads a chance to settle and set a budget. Beats the Stanford thing free entry to anyone their last two home games; a quick fix, one sport. Free RCAF to grads can be a long term policy and grow not only football but all sports. But could UL stomach an idea from the RPCA?

That is not a really good comparison. Those at a Trump rally do not complain nearly as much about what they are there to support than Cajun fans do . . .
