Yes, to him everyone acts like they are knowitalls if they have an opinion on anything. Perception and reality are separate things when it comes to him.

Just how it worked with the other team trying to trap us and just leaving their big men down low. Either pick & roll with one open at the top or another one open in the corner. We beat them so bad that they quit adding to our score on the scoreboard.
Yep, the game has changed and your guys were likely shooting open shots. That's the problem. We feel that shooting the 3 is the better shot even if its covered and contested rather than working for an open 12 footer. It's also why we don't shoot it very well because they are often contested.

We’re at the game. Women looking good. Shooting well against an over matched opponent.

Awesome! Yeah I'm looking at live stats and Tamera Johnson is doing good! Enjoy the game! .~.

If you were planning on catching the men’s game on ESPN+ just know that the women’s game is on there as well. Women are about to double up TAMU Kingsville.

Yeah I know. I would watch it but I don't have ESPN+ anymore, unfortunately. I've talked to my parents about getting it again, but they don't want it (they're not diehard Cajuns fans like me). Appreciate you letting me know though.

That starting lineup suggested by Cajuns80 is as good a guess as any. With Kobe out, not sure who replaces him in the starting lineup. It may be Jalen Dalcourt as he has shot the ball well in pre season camp. When everyone is available, he could move to the role of providing perimeter shooting off the bench, similar to what Devin Butts did a year ago. Dou Gueye could be a starter as well since he started at Alabama. However as Coach said this morning, having three bigs on the floor makes it hard to guard out on the perimeter. Dou can do that for short periods. However his best feature is getting rebounds and that is tough to do from the perimeter at times. Durey Cadwell has not played as much as I expected he would in the two scrimmage games. After not playing in two years, he may be having a tough time being mentally ready for competition. When he does play, he could be asked to deal with a hot offensive player. I do expect some sloppy play early due to all the guys who will get an opportunity. Coach said this morning one goal is to get the rotation down to 9 players by the time conference play starts. Lots of guys will get opportunities prior to then. Hopefully Kobe is well enough to play by Friday night at USM. That will be a conference type game.

That’s true we were shooting wide open shots. Still would rather see then drive for a short jumper but they see the NBA shoot threes like crazy. And it’s hard to get them to understand the higher percentage shot when they’re beating the snot out of teams.

The teams unable to get those open 12’ shots. Our inside game is mostly rebounding and put back. Our outside game doesn’t have enough movement for many open shots or inside feeds. Bobby wants to out athlete the opponents. When he’s can’t it’s a push.
Maybe things change this year because it’s the deepest team in years.

Found something funny checking out the websites. West Florida has this listed as an exhibition for them while we have it listed as a regular season game.

That’s pretty common for non div I schools. Bobby never misses an opportunity for a cheap win. Don’t know why the games can be counted differently by the opponents.
