Re: Louisiana at Georgia Southern
You are correct, was Davis. My bad. Still, when that happened, our team collectively looked like a bunch of second graders being informed about the truth of Santa Clause.

I agree; but Maggard ain't Farmer. He will look very closely at Marlin's scheduling practices and his in game coaching skills, along with his inability to win in conference, NOT just his won-loss record.
Re: Louisiana at Georgia Southern
So.....I was correct before the season started about this team and Marlin. I retracted my statement when "we looked good". A bunch of us got called out time and time again for having a negative opinion on this team. Now the true Marlin colors are smeared all over this team and it's disgusting to watch. The difference between the diamond sports and basketball/football is discipline and coach-ability. Once again, I'm done with this crust......But hey, Bobby just needs to win his games in March

Actually one of the video replays showed Jay looking at Davis waiting for a pass and reacting once the ball was stolen.

I missed that. I stand corrected.
Re: Louisiana at Georgia Southern
He made it easier by having the ball extended away from his body while not attempting to make a pass.

Miller including last night is 8/25 on threes. That's just under a third. Last night he was 1/3 his season average.
He's not the guy I want shooting threes in do or die moments. He was however wide open.

I almost always want Frank Bartley shooting it if possible; but last night he had 3 very bad misses.
It's a crap shoot; it is only a good play if it works.

And everyone knows a ref is hesitant to make that call late in the game.
No but I wouldn't have minded seeing Bartley or Hardy take that shot.

I take these comments with a grain of salt. Missouri athletics hasn't been a house of fire lately. Men's BB was in last place last I saw.

I don't think he was the AD so it's kind of hard to hold him directly accountable for their current situation. He was a large part of getting them into the SEC which gave Missouri back about $37.6M in football revenue this year. I'd love a tenth of that added to our revenue, wouldn't you?
Re: Louisiana at Georgia Southern
Farmer was like an upgrade from a Chevy Vega to a Nova. Maggard I am expecting much better than a Chevy. I don't have Lambo expectations, but I expect a serious upgrade.
