He is a freshman but won't start likely until his junior year after Holstein leaves. I have no problems offering him as Cajun T said, it gets us in the door early. I'm just saying we should temper expectations for him until he's been able to go out and prove it on the field. In many ways, its not fair to Walker.

Money well spent.

The chances of both Napier being here in 4 years AND Walker not being a highly sought-after recruit are pretty slim, imo. Whatever the case may be at that point, it's good recruiting strategy and we SHOULD offer all local kids who are getting major attention. Our chances are better with Holstein and even that, I think is becoming a long shot. We can still dream though, can't we?!

With the addition of 2 juco QBs and 2 incoming freshman that will likely red shirt, I would not be surprised if Napier does not add any QBs for 2020, that are not already committed at this point. Unless of course if some highly sought after P5 stud falls into his lap. JMO. If I am not mistaken he has a 2021 commit at QB now.

Napier is recruiting Walker to follow him to South Carolina in 3 years 😂
