Re: Louisiana at Alabama Score Prediction Thread
My boss is a Bama grad (and Troy grad, so guess I’ll catch ____ twice this season). He asked me what the line for the game this weekend was. He didn’t believe me when I told him 50.
But hell, they beat Ole Miss 63-7. What do we think is going to happen to us this weekend??
We’ll engage in a knock down, drag out fight where the game will have to be decided by a couple plays in the 4th quarter.

Cajuns 7
Bama 34
We keep the score low by playing ball control offense and keep them off the field. By that I mean we don't throw the ball once, use laterals in a game of keep away. Never and I mean never go out of bounds. Tell the center he snaps the ball with one second left on the play clock for every down.
On defense we blitz every down. We get lucky a few times and even pick up a fumble and return for a touchdown. Sure the blitz will let them get through for some long plays but that just means we get it back quicker to run our "ball control offense".

For those going to the game, there are plenty of good places to eat in Tuscaloosa.

Depends on what your hungry for. Close to Bryant-Denny is Rama Jama, MugShots, The Avenue Pub, Nick's and Dotsons. All serve burgers, sandwiches, fries, cold beer, etc. For BBQ, you have Dreamlands, Full Moon, Jim N Nick's and Archibald and Woodrows. Dreamland has a national reputation but I personally think that Full Moon or Jim N Nick's is better. I have never eaten there but I have been told that Archibald and Woodrow's is the best BBQ in Tuscaloosa but is located in a hole in the wall and has very limited seating. There is a diner called Metro which is styled similar to Hub City Diner. A slightly more upscale place is Southern Ale House which is in located in Northport which is about 15 minutes north of Tuscaloosa. You also have your assortment of chain restaurants around town.

Maybe we won’t give up 63 unanswered points like Ole Miss?

Well Mark Hemphill, I have eat some of the best steaks you will ever put in your mouth in so call dumps that look like old wooden shoot-gun houses you see in the country. They strive on serving great food and not glorified dwellings with Rembrandt's on the wall......
