Damn, <a href="http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/481156/ronnie-hillman">Ronnie Hillman stats</a>
Wow...This one might.

I'd rather not play a team with a powerful runner.
I am not familiar with Bobby Rainey, but if he is as good as Ronnie Hillman, he is damn good.
Ratings won't be as bad as playing a MAC program. The San Diego metro area has over 4 mil people in it, more then the state of Louisiana. If San Diego can travel a couple thousand, UL brings around 20,000 and they sell another 8,000 tickets in the New Orleans community, they could easily break the record of 30,000 attendance for the NO Bowl. Not as bad as you think.
Officials from the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl have spent the past few weeks playing “what if,” as in what if enough teams from Conference USA don’t qualify for bowl eligibility. So they were prepared Sunday evening when they had to dip ...

Last year they said they said "Ohio" and "Troy", I hope they dont cheap out on us this year when their going to be bringing in more revenue than ever.
It will be the first time that the Aztecs will play the Ragin’ Cajuns. SDSU almost did not get a bowl berth and looked like it was going to be the odd team out of the MW. The Aztecs were banking on being picked by the fourth Mountain West bowl (the New ...

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns football learned Sunday night that they will face the San Diego State Aztecs in the 2011 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl after an announcement from the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation.
San Diego State has accepted an invitation to face UL in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl on December 17th. While the Cajuns make their first bowl appearance in 41 years, the Aztecs make their 2nd consecutive postseason after defeating Navy ...
What color combination will Coach Hud go with for the New Orleans Bowl, I wonder? Any one with inside information, please let us know.
thanks
If the New Orleans Bowl has a contract with CUSA for the 5th pick, then why did they "have" to take SDSU? No one went to the BCS. Houston,USM,Tulsa,Marshal,SMU. That's 5. I'm perfectly fine with the choice, and actually prefere it to Marshal.
C'mon, Z!!! You know the tanktoppers can't enjoy their sucess unless they are putting others down. Just being the best team in the country isn't good enough for them. It means nothing to tanktoppers unless they can get in someone else's face and insist that fan's team's success isn't good enough. Of course, back in the days of Hallman and DiNardo just making a bowl would have ben trumpeted as evidence of their greatness. Now it means nothing because its others doing it.
Power Ranger Uni's just like Georgia had against Boise earlier this year. Lol probably the Red and Black since we'll be the home team
I think the keys are going to be:
Defensively--Contain their all world RB Ronnie Hillman, I don't think we can stop him, but I do believe we can keep him controlled and most importantly out of the End Zone. If we can hold them to FG, they stuggle in that department. Their kicker has only hit 5/13 this year including 3-5 from 20-29 yards. Secondly and this is a big one, don't let the QB have time, we are going to have to get pressure on the QB, it is going to be big for Bernard Smith to come hard on most plays. And finally Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. The secondary is got to step up big time in this game.
Offensively--we will be able to move the ball against them, Blaine needs to run the sprad to perfection, our running game will get better if Blaine can run the ball well and make a balanced attack with him throwing and running and mix in a steady dose of Harris. Limit turnovers and control the clock. And finally a little trickidation from coach Hud, in the special teams area or on 4th downs.
I am exicted to see this game, I think it is going to be similar to the Zona game, but with a different outcome. I predict Cajuns 42 Aztecs 34.
