We lost one lineman to the NFL and Napier took one who will be an All American. Who else did we lose? Except for this one lineman, wouldn't Napier be dealing with the same OL if he stayed?

Too much blame on the offense. The Owls punted once. Granted they got three interceptions and one being a pick six. Creating one punt isn’t going to win very many games.
The loss was a total team effort. Offense defense, special teams (can’t kick field goals), coaching.

I think we need to quit worrying out what we dont have and focus on what we do have. Bottom line is Napier was gone. Someone was going to replace him. That person was going to be faced with turnover….coaches and players. To think this PROGRAM was not going to miss a beat this year is almost ignorant. That was NEVER going to happen. Mike had the balls to take the job he was offered. He will get it right, he will get it fixed. Comparable…a new CEO isnt always great day 1 compared to at the end of year 1 but he is still the right guy for the job. Hang tight and let him figure it out. The microwave society we live in wants it to be a seamless transition…but thats not going to be the case. Lots of learning to be done by the right guy.

Well done. Let’s see how many elect to recognize how on point this is and accept it or go right to the life of cheese. Should be interesting.
