He probably would have started, but if you listen to what Coach Deggs says, he wanted LP to follow a lefty. Marshall went thru the order one time, giving every batter a look at a LHP and then Langevin came in. The man said what the “plan” was and did exactly that.

The radio pregame starts 30 min prior to the game. Coach Deggs talks to Jay about 5-6 min into the show. And they discuss the pitching plan for each game every time. And it usually goes pretty darn close to what Coach Deggs says it will.Quote:
