I'm not to sure Tank has any Maurice or NV podnas. His wife has a lot of friends at NV.

All I say is if Des is our guy then please hire an offensive coordinator who calls his own plays so Des can coach the team and not have to worry about what play am I going to call next. That's one thing I'll give Deion no matter how big is his ego he hired an OC to call the plays so he can coach the the team.
. . . Tank has plenty friends there . . . when one does not know the difference between Meaux and Maurice, how can he know if someone has friends there . . .
TxSt looked great against P5 Baylor, and stumbled out the gate against a pretty good UTSA, and wasn’t blown away. I’m definitely not going to rest on them. GS is a damned good football team so losing at GS isn’t a sign of weakness. I’m not seeing any easy W’s going forward.
One stat that jumps out from Saturday night is 10 penalties. That is just a discipline and a mental toughness thing that is developed starting and in January, into spring and through fall camp. And we have all heard how Des has chosen to go much softer on the players than Napier was… well it’s definitely paying off.
we gunna fire the coach every week again this year? coach des is an offensive guy. i could be mistaken but did the offense do enough to win? anyone talking about des being the problem doesnt know ball. if yall want to fire somebody the names you should be discussing is paschal and dc morgan. special teams and defense lost the game ya dumbasses
. . . when that promise was made, CBN was a known quantity as a Sunbelt coach and it was pretty certain that such checks would be for no more than one more year if he even considered staying, which I doubt he would have done considering the contract he secured at Florida . . .
. . . not once here or anywhere has it been seen that the commitment to write a check which any shrewd investor knew he would not have to write to keep CBN was ever made with respect to any other potential coaching candidate . . . prove me wrong . . .
I wish some of y’all would quit overreacting. We aren’t canning Des, it’s not even a thought.
Defensively we got handled and had no answer. That is literally the first time that I’ve seen us completely unprepared. We didn’t have an answer for what they were doing. It cost us the game.
This staff needs to improve, if it doesn’t then the excitement that may still exist will be completely gone. Then in 4 more years we will have another coaching search. But until then, Des is the guy and will be the guy until his contract is up. We don’t fire coaches unless they have NCAA violations.
So just can it with the talk of firing the man. It won’t happen, regardless of someone has the money in hand for the buyout.
I just understand how we operate. I think this staff is a 7-9 win staff. They haven’t proven to me to be a championship level staff.
Does that make them bad? No, just haven’t shown how to win the close games yet.
They may get there, but haven’t yet to this point.
