Hopefully there will be some decent tailgating and therefore great food at the game. It’s hard to know with a Wed game.
Check back closer to game day. If we tailgate, you and your sons will be welcome to join us for food and drinks.

Just a heads up, if you walk around the tailgate area and wearing App colors, expect a few Cajuns (like HOUCajun) to invite you to their tent for some good Cajun food. You’ll get some first class Cajun cuisine.

New Boudin shop just opened on Johnston street just past Doucet in the old Sophie P cupcake shop. Bourques specialty’s. Just wanna say that it is a shame we won't be able to show our App friends the full Saturday Cajun Field Tailgate experience. With the buzz around town, that would have been an epic Saturday.

Historically our big crowds had strong student attendance and/or large visitor crowds. Since I expect App St to have a small contingent, a large attendance (25,000+) will only happen if the students show up. It will be interesting to see if they are as excited as people here on RP.

My son is a senior. He said there is a buzz going on like he has never seen. P.S, thats including all his friends, across all sexes and races.. Great sign.

Agree on French Press. I also had terrible experiences there, one of which included a server threatening one of my buddies when we were eating there for his wife's bday. Will never go back.
If the App folks are downtown I'd suggest Pop's, Dwyer's, or Johnson's for lunch.

....Need signs all over campus.... Cajun football is back....get the busses going easy transportation to and fro! NO EXCUSES !!!

Y’all are crazy for sending them to Pops and not Olde Tyme. Pops is more upscale and complicated. Go to olde tyme and get a simple shrimp poboy. It’s one of the best things you’ll have here, I guarantee it. If it isn’t, PM me and I’ll pay you back.
