To give you an idea of who the 500 wins might be against; Marlin at UL has a losing record against teams in the top 200 of RPI and/or NET.

I think most will agree:
1 Marlin is not a terrible coach, but he is not a good one either
2 Marlin's tenure has been terrible for the UL basketball program
3 the AD is negligent to have kept him for over 15 years

All I know is they can no longer use the "college basketball is dead in the south" excuse anymore. The last several years we have seen several "southern" programs blow up.
