McNeese is a different animal! They play in the Southland conference. Which is what Tech already in a league that is almost the same lol.

LaTech can compete no matter how much we minimize them or down them won’t change that. Put your fandom aside and just think how interesting it would make in all sports.

I’ve been on this board since it started. I am a diehard UL fan.

I’ll make the point real quick. What are the best attended games at Cajun Field?

Besides if we play Alabama or Texas A&M. It was Southern, Grambling, ULM, AState. and soon to be USM, people want to see regional teams.

LaTech is a regional team that everyone knows of and would create fan interest. No one wants to see a Eastern Michigan or Northern Illinois they want to see regional rivalries, what would make it more interesting is if they were part of the SBC!
