Listening to Benson on Shultz’s show this morning furthers my opinion that this deal is not what people think.

Very noncommittal about finances; literally didn’t say anything. Referenced the MAC as comparison several times.

A lot of “well when league members have this and that in place” X dollars will be made.. m

Not buying it. Out of the Belt and into the AAC before 2021, that’s all we need to worry about.

The most important aspects of this announcement is that UL is moving forward with their production equipment, last I heard this summer. Second, with the old agreement ending, we will now be able to sell our 2nd and 3rd tier rights. I would still would like to see that in writing, but that is what I've been told.

Easy-peasy! I put the antenna where the old DirecTV dish was and used their cable to hook up the antenna.

I don't know enough about this 2nd and 3rd tier, but I read the new deal gives ESPN exclusive rights to ALL content.

If you know the difference, can you explain?

As far as watching on a large screen high def tv vs. your laptop, an Amazon fire TV, Roku or Apple TV hooked up to your tv would take care of that issue easily

I would have to connect my laptop to tv to view astros.com or any website stream. I have Roku 2 for Espn 3 that is nice. Is there an app for Roku to stream sports without having to use my laptop?

I have an app that works like that for chromecast, so any site I can watch on my phone I can kick to the tv

I have 4 Amazon Fire TV boxes in my house, super simple to use. Work great. Only problem is cost, and it's one time.
