Their QB has a rating of 180+. He's completing 71%. Now, they only throw it an average of 15 times a game. But they've been VERY effective when throwing it.

Your assessment of their defense is correct. We will pound the rock against them.

Let me rephrase that. In the one game they played against a team that shut down, the run,, they were unwilling or unable to turn to the passing game to carry the offense. I don't think that was a fluke.

Over half of their passing yards and passing TDs came against Campbell. Their passing game doesn't scare me.

Also, we saw 2 quarterbacks last week that are better in the run game than the one we will see today. Not that this one can't or won't be effective against us, but he is no Nick Fitzgerald.

Fitzpatrick is the best Running QB in SEC history i doubt Coastal will have a guy 1/4 of Fitzgerald talent

You won't need to dedicate 2 defense of players on him a Safety spy is about all you need

After hearing our strength coach speak yesterday at the qb club, I am happy about our conditioning this year. No matter what happens in first half, I think we pull away from Coastal in the second half.

I don't think we will shut him down in the run game; but we will limit him to some degree. The key to winning this game is to limit their rushing attack to under 200 yards. They will not beat us with the pass.
