Right behind him defending him... It's ashame it took the best season in history and getting scalped for the regional to convince him to buy season tickets... Hopefully the wagon doesn't empty when we come back to earth or cajun baseball isn't as "cool" as it was last year. I have a feeling if we take some early lumps, getting a seat will be pretty easy this year.

Been going to Cajuns baseball games since I was in diapers. I can still recite the starting lineup of the 2000 College World Series team. Went to a regional at Alex Box in the late 90's that the Cajuns were in. Had a ticket book to the regionals we hosted in 2000 and watched every game (even including the ones we weren't in) of that regional. I attended the Baton Rouge regional in 2002, the A&M regional in 2007 and the Austin regional in 2010. I just so happened to be working in Illinois (for Merindino) in 2013 when we went to Baton Rouge, but still managed to stream every game, and I am thankful for that technology. Phillip Hawke was probably my favorite Cajun ball player of all time. Justin Merindino was probably my least favorite (only because I had to work for him years later lol)… I made every weekend home game last year with the exception of the season finale against ULM (only missed the Sunday), oh and by the way, I live in Houston, which is why I didn't have season tickets, and decided my money was better sent to RCAF. We all know that was a poor investment, so I decided to reallocate my funds elsewhere. So tell me how I am a bandwagon fan again, pansy? Go back and take a look at how the events played out. I only mentioned that I often contemplated what it would have been like if Dex was on last year's team. You then came out with the smart ___ answer about how could we get better than #1? I don't post on the basketball topics, because I admit, I am not the most knowledgable basketball guy, so I come here for information and remain silent about most topics. You are in every corner of raging pagin posting your two sense and it gets a little over bearing. They could have a thread about pickles. I bet you have an opinion on that too...

Hahaha ok... You know there is button that makes me go away, you coulda said... You forgot about dex and I eoukd have said you are right, I sure did forget about dex because I did.

Conrad hit 100 points less than Dex in 2013 and only better than 2 players with significant playing time. Not downplaying his performance as much as showing how much better Dex was at that point. He may be the better player now, but in 2013 he was not.

I wouldn't say nails. He hit .267 with a bomb and 4 RBI in the two weekends. I do recall the big homerun off the old scoreboard though.
