67. We are under investigation by the NCAA.
Illegal use of Jomax during the summer session. There were three
football players running stadiums while pressure washing was being
done. The NCAA said if 100% water had been used there would be no
violation.
In a related story Steve Spurrier said two players will be out for
their opener. The two players were doing summer passing drills when
they were sprayed by muratic acid from a stray pressure washer.
Spurrier said it was the darndest thing he's ever witnessed.
The NCAA when asked if this was a violation they replied,"We are
talking Jomax versus muratic acid clearly one is a violation and the
other an unfortunate accident."
