Yes. Karl Scott left as the DC for the Cajuns to go to Bama as a DB coach. He is now coaching for the Vikings.

….so you want the best coach we can get here……but more importantly it should be the best coach for this place….ergo who has the best chance to win here! I have no doubt that Des would be the most intrinsically motivated which is very good but for whatever motivates the guy, the Ws are what matters…….what will the new guy demand? A refreshing statement coming from Nap was thatT-Joe and Mag gave them everything we needed to WIN…..So did Des definitely apply for the gig? Anybody else on the staff applied?

Agree, they've been dominant the 2nd half of the season. Should have had more all conference players.

There have been some good names bambied about. The nicest thing about all of this is UL having the power of choice to reach out & have their pick of several good names instead of having to cross fingers & hope for the best.
