I'm low dollar RCAF and I'm at 137-26. Looks like donors took care of the entire lower level.

I think they're $17. My wife bought 5. Small through XL for sure, maybe XXL?
Heres a question, would this also take into consideration the BCS teams that could become bowl eligible. Right now, South Florida is playing, and with a win they would become bowl eligible. I would think, if a lot of the BCS teams becoming eligible, it would open up the possibilities of us getting a BCS team in the bowl, we will just have to wait till sunday to know for sure.
I think WKU (a team who has yet to go bowling) would bring a much better crowd than SDSU. And why not the rematch? We could show them up on a much grander stage.
No to WKU...Purdue, Illinois, or SDSU sounds good. No belt, no MAC. If were gonna get one chance to make this special...then lets play someone special.
Went tonight to pick one up. They have more designs available. They have two more bowl designs and a new design that's not bowl related coming in tomorrow. All of them look awesome! Wish I could have taken pictures of them. Maybe somebody else can.
I say no way to wku. It would make us look small-time as a conference. This is not an indictment on them. I really hope they make a bowl, but not against us. I don't think they would want that either. It would be a losing proposition all the way around. Now, I admit I would prefer a team who would bring some fans, but NOT a Sun Belt team. NO ONE but wku or Cajun fans would watch that game.
I would like to see us beat a "BCS" school like Purdue or Illinois, I think SDSU would be a good matchup but I dont think they would have a good following. I honestly would rather play WKU without Rainey just because this guy has had our number and I'm tired of seeing us lose to them lol. But I hope we can play, and beat Purdue/Illinois type team because that will give us more respect Nationally.
UPDATE...BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!!!
This afternoon I sent an email to Shivaun and CC'ed Scott. I was very polite in the email, and explained everything that has happend thus far. About an hour later, I got an reply saying "I'm printing your tickets right now." Then about 2 hours later, I FINALLY got "the call" telling me they were ready, charges, etc., etc..
I even had them put my bro-in-law down as the person to pick them up for me.
I was "placed" in the emergency "opps we forgot about you, and eff'ed up area" basically.
So me and my group of 19 will be proudly sitting in section 144, rows 27-29.
FINALLY.......CHRISTMAS MORNING HAS COME! :D
I can finally contribute to this thread...
Sec 144, rows 27-29
Asked a bunch of people that should know--the ticket sellers-----got over 13K and that we were almost 14 K and that 10K was maybe the break out point!!!! I am hoping that North of the lake, Jeff, Plaq, St.John the Baptist, St. Charles, and even Laf and Terr. buy tickets even if not from UL and are wearing red on Dec 17th in the Dome!!!
I think you guys are going to be disappointed. I don't think they paint the end zones for the New Orleans Bowl. It's going to say "Saints."
They paint for the Tulane for the Tulane games games I am almost certain!!! must not be a big deal---Just imagine LOUISIANA and WW shows up and is trying to get it erased--Then the Monroe administration complaining to T-JOE again!!!!!
We would probably lose to Illinois or purdue and that will put a damper on things
Section 144 Row 32....A sea of RED!
I think there will be a lot more sold closer to the game date. New Orleans has a lot going on, and a lot of folks there make spur-of-the-moment plans. I deal with a lot of Southeast LA. vendors...the Buzz is high!
I think you are right.
ps was that a pun?
Also, many local businesses are buying suites. Those are not sold through the university so those numbers are not included in the university's count. Scott Farmer inquired about that and was told that even though these were UL fans buying the suites UL would not be credited with those sales.
Sec 144. We have about 40 seats in 4 rows...
that is all.

The school gets 100% of the first 9000 or so tickets sold through the school, and 50% of all above that number sold through the school. There are roughly 2000 tickets at $60 sold through the school [$120,000]. 7000 more at $40 [$280,000] and [if we sell 20,000 tickets through the school] 11,000 tickets at $20 [220,000]. That would give us a total payout of $620,000. Not bad.
