The only thing that’s changed is Mark Hudspeth won and got the IPF built. Giving us a massive recruiting advantage in the region.
RCAF isn’t independent.
COA isn’t fully funded anymore.
Near zero NIL funding.
Fundraising positions in a hiring freeze.
Adversarial relationship with the student body.
I could go on and on. But you get the point.
Bingo
Re: Why do we hate our students!!!
. . . people keep playing bingo here and I don’t believe we even have that as a club sport . . .
Re: Why do we hate our students!!!
Isn't bingo like beer pong?

Self inflicted.

I was at the student tailgate from 4-5 visiting my 2 children and seeing what it is all about. Yes. Pong was played. In true UL fashion after much backlash they relaxed the rules as they have done every other weekend. The student tailgate was very well attended. When it shut down, because the Greeks are tired of the childish rules and being F____ed with constantly by Hidie Lindsey and others, they packed up and went to Marley’s. Had all the kids at the tailgate gone in the game the crowd would have easily been bigger than week one. The reason they even went to the tailgate was because it was family week and lots of them had parents there. My 21 year old missed the 2nd home game of his entire life.
They did not relax the rule about going to the houses. Some had security hired and parents over during the day. My sons fraternity is doing parents day later in the year. They could not meet at their house pre or post game.
My view of the tailgate in general. IMO it is one of the most depressing things I have ever seen, on a college campus for tailgating. When I was a kid my grandfather had around 500 head of cattle. When working cattle, you first round them up and put them in a holding pen, before running them through the shoot. I told my son and his friends, that the student tailgate looks like a bunch of cattle being round up and fenced in, with someone guarding the gate making sure they don’t get out and party outside of the pen.
Lastly my freshman daughter had their family day at Marley’s from 1-3 in the afternoon. So I was able to check go to Marley’s off my bucket list as I went there for my first time.
