You didn't say you thought it, you said "administration" so no messenger backlash involved.

Once they reach a certain size they are moved. You don’t want larger older gators fighting for territory on campus. If you want to see large gators, I can bring you to some places near my house. One of the joys of living in the swamp.

So what size is considered to big on campus?

Somewhere in the 8’ range if I recall correctly.
I understand up near the locks on the Teche Lake Canal there are some beasts.

Probably the size of the picture took and showed you, it was 11 feet and I've not seen one larger.
They may have downsized since then.

Once they reach breading ages, they get cycled out. It varies, but generally 6-7’ for females and 7-8’ for males.
Anything larger than that in a low fence environment, with dumbass students it could turn into something funny or tragic depending on your humor.

Where do they return them once they are cycled out? Behind crj3888 house.

Think I’ve read before that they may be released into Lake Martin.
Back corner of trail B at Fausse Pointe had two 12-14 footers for a while, right next to a tent camping spot. Counted at least 30 not long ago near the bridge where Bayou Alexander Hwy meets the levee.
Had many “unknown” animals at night in my backyard. Coyotes have slowed down lately & don’t hear them often. Had a black bear & her cub in a tree at our shop a few weeks ago.
