Re: New Orleans Bowl: Where ya sitting at?
I got my tickets today at noon. Section 135 row 11 seats 22, 23, 24, 25. I am going to sell them as I do not like being so low. I will go to ticketmaster and get the 300 level tickets I prefer. Anybody that wants my tickets I will sell them to you (they are $40.00 each). PM me if you are interested. If not I will sell them on Stub Hub.

Re: New Orleans Bowl: Where ya sitting at?
Just checking it out ---looks like we have 120 yards in the lower section filled up---I am thinking that from the diagram the band section ( in the LG catches a td on the fade route area) all the way to the next end zone will be solid red---Where are the next sections going???? Anybody have a guess and to how many people are in this lower section???

Paint The Quarter Red Shirts at Albertsons
We just got this shirt in at the Albertsons I work at. The one on the corner of Congress and Ambassador, across from Southwest med.
It's the best bowl shirt I've seen so far, and they have them in short and long sleeve.

Re: N.O. Bowl Hotels: Where are you staying?
My parents rented two rooms for them and I there. I bunch of friends of mine and I all got our tickets in one group so we could all sit together. I found out that they all got their rooms in the Holilday Inn too. Worked out perfectly. .4mi from the 'Dome, 3 blocks from the French Quarter. Notbadman.jpg

Point being (I think) there are a lot of UL Alumni that don't make it back to the Lafayette area very often, but will make it to a UL appearance in the New Orleans Bowl. Provided they still live there.
I know back in the mid to late 80s and early 90s there were a lot of guys in my fraternity who were from the New Orleans area. It made the annual trip to the 'Dome to play Tulane even more fun than it would have been otherwise.

Waiting game continues for Cajuns
He's not naming names in that regard. But the UL coach does know what sort of team he wants to his Ragin' Cajuns to play in the Dec. 17 New Orleans bowl. "We really don't (know who it will be)," he told media members Wednesday. "We'd like to ...
Re: Various Bowl Predictions
If the chips fall the right way, yes I think there is a shot but likely small.
SBC perceived as small in the minds of bowl folks.
Re: New Orleans Bowl: Where ya sitting at?
Helmut, I'd be willing to bet that if you wait a week, you can get higher seats through UL.
Just Wondering N.O. bowl endzones
What will be painted in our endzone for the New orleans bowl. will it be just "louisiana" like at cajun field, or will it have to have lafayette because of WW and the sunbelt. if thats the case would we be better off putting Ragin' Cajuns in the endzone. Just something that popped in my head, not complaining or looking to b!+ch just curious.
p.s. i am a fan, so i do not have bigger things to worry about, like game film or missed tackles.
Re: Just Wondering N.O. bowl endzones
I'd like to see RAGIN CAJUNS!!! Best nickname in college sports.
Re: Just Wondering N.O. bowl endzones
Can we paint "Screw the BCS" in the end zone? How about "FLSU"?
How about painting "Say My Name"?
Re: Just Wondering N.O. bowl endzones
i think it will say "LAFAYETTE"
Re: Just Wondering N.O. bowl endzones
After watching the bowl presentation, it looks like they are focusing on RAGIN CAJUNS instead of the school name
