2. Our strength and conditioning is poor. The number of opposing teams that push us around is staggering. Several times I watched as we struggled to tackle players and they ended up picking up extra yardage.
3. Our DB's don't know how to defend the pass. It's amazing how many times they never look for the football.
4. Eli looks slower to me. Just doesn't seem to have the acceleration he had last season and his vision for running lanes seems to be lacking.
5. WR's routinely drop passes and don't run good routes.
6. Coaching staff failed at putting in an offense that caters to the strength of the talent they have. It is pretty obvious the strengths of Haack and Nixon, yet the offense was not tailored to those strengths.
7. The zone read is useless without a QB who can stretch the field with a pass beyond 5 yards. Our running game has suffered because we are far too predictable on offense.
Agree with everything you said.

I finally got the stomach to log onto Ragin Pagin after watching that Thursday night tragedy.
Although I have PLENTY to complain about regarding coaching, The TOP THREE things are (and I have NOT checked to see if they have not already been addressed - because even if they have been, I still need to shout these off of my chest):
1. Why the first 2 point conversion call???
2. While we are at it, Why the SECOND two point call??
3. And FOR C___'s Sake: WHY go for it on fourth down -- IN OUR OWN TERRITORY, with our terrible offensive of showing (and coaching, and play calling), with over 3 minutes left, and with three timeouts left??????
oh, and
4. Does anyone on the UL coaching staff know how to effectively use last year's Sun Belt Offensive Player of the YEAR??? ANYONE??????

Ever since John Fox blew a Super Bowl by going for a 2point conversion in the 3rd quarter, these needless early attempts have been a pet peeve of mine as well.

Has it been noticed that 2 of the top 3 running backs in the state Fournette and McGuire have almost been completely shut down as of late??? Somebody found some new defensive scheme!!! Got to be---need to see a stop video!!!

Nothing new Boom.....I'm putting numbers in the box.....beat me throwing or not at all
Re: GameTalk: Louisiana vs USA
Running up the middle has shut eli down. Has nothing to do with d other than they have watched us try it for 9 games.

I'm not stating anything that you don't know much better than me but, ANY defense that knows your exact path, has a much higher probability of stoppage.

Are you like me, and hear nails on a chalkboard whenever they go on and on about unlocking our running game by running Nixon?
From the staff, to the media guys, it was surreal last week to hear all of them repeat this nonsense all week.
Truly bizarre.
