I wish everyone would take a step back... take a deep breath... and realize that our softball team will make it through this. One door closes, another one opens. The outside world will embrace the suggestion of our demise. It will not become apparent to the programs we face.
The best thing to happen to CAJUN SOFTBALL and maybe CAJUN ATHLETICS has just occurred !!!

If you are who you say you are, all I have to say is this. The Master Plan regardless of what the outcome of it is, has allowed UL Softball to play in one of the finest facilities in the country. I believe that it is easily a top 20 ball park and everything associated with the program has been top notch. We will be fine no matter what happens after today Yvette, Mike & yourself have built a program that can withstand such turmoil. We will be fine.Quote:

Jealousy between programs is like the forbidden fruit, it is poison that will destroy you from the inside. Some sports are treated with more favor and paid that way as well. It will always be that way, is it fair? No, but it is what it is.
I would think Mike has spoken to the girls and they're all on the same page. MIKE IS GOING TO COACH.... Just with a different title. That's how Im taking this whole ordeal. This team is gonna be real good, this I know. Im excited about tomorrow, this I know. and This team will show up prepared with a top knotch under paid coaching staff, this I know.Quote:
