I noticed how the announcer said that 17 runs is the most the Cajuns have scored in NCAA Tournament play … pause … “this century).

LOL. For those that remember the 1999 Houston regional, the Cajuns scored 19 on the Cougars in the regional final (sweeping the regional 3-0).

Run rule is an option that both coaches can agree to during regular season games but it is not a requirement.
