I would love to go back and listen to Robe’s interview discussing this. It was back in early 2019 I believe. It was on the weekly show when he was interviewed on the Auzone or whatever it was called. I thought it was interesting at the time and would be even more-so now without Coach Robe to hear again the direction he thought the game was heading and what we needed to do. He also discussed his pitching philosophies in this interview.

Anyone know where I can find this?

It can’t make either pitchers or hitters. It only provides information based upon what it sees and measures on the field.

I don’t believe Robe had it.

If we went back to recruiting strike throwers like the ones we had when team ERA was under 4, we would clean up.

Something to keep in mind. It’s not just here at UL.

The median ERA across all of D1 college baseball is over 5.00

The elite SEC median ERA is over 5.00

Over 1/3 of D1 teams walk 5+ batters a game. And a whole bunch more are over 4.5 per game.

I watch a ton of college games. The lack of command and woeful pitching is happening everywhere.

Good thing our best pitcher will only go 2 innings. Any longer and it might get out of hand.

Coastal may score 60 runs this weekend.

Cajuns may score 60 runs this weekend.
