Louisiana Football Coaching Search

The guy I am becoming more and more intrigued with is Josh Gattis. Current OC with Michigan and has spent time at Bama and Penn State.

I am not sure we want Golding, unless he REALLY wants to be a HC. He is currently making $1.5M at Bama, so we would need to pay him more than that and he has no HC experience.

Jeff Banks at Texas is interesting. Sark brought him along from Alabama and is paying him $1M as the Special Teams coach. So he has coached at TAMU, Bama and now Texas.

Lebby makes some sense, but he is probably going to be on OU's radar now, as well.

From reading Alabama fan sites, Alabama would probably pay us to take Pete Golding.

True story on this guy being intriguing!

Yeah he’s persona non grata to fans. His defense saved Alabama spot in the CFP this year. Kept them in the game for sure.

Throw in some jump ropers and I’m in.

I am excited to see who Maggard brings in. I hope the new coach continues what Napier did very well and that is to keep recruiting guys for the trenches. It's amazing what a team can do when you control the line, both offensively and defensively.

Something that I’ve found interesting is that a lot of current players are following the Alabama DC Pete Golding on Twitter

Someone who runs coastal carolina’s offense style and can have a defense like we currently have.

I truly believe Dan Mullen is a great coach and do not know the specifics about why he didn’t succeed at UF for the past 2 years but those two years are his only real blemish

It would be real cool if people didn't try to be hilarious in every thread. I'd actually like to speculate about possible coaches.

Graham Harrell, USC OC (maybe about to be unemployed)

Probably no one on that list, because none of us had Napier on ours.

No for Dan Mullen to UL.
