MAT says too early. Please listen
I said wait because y’all are wasting bullets. It ain’t happening this year. MAYBE if he goes something like, winless in conference; but that won’t happen.
Maggard is in dangerous territory right now. Our basketball program is on life support and the fanbase is receiving hospice care. I’ve never seen apathy like this.
The epicenter of CDS and ppl b(I)tching just to b(l)tch, not a single soul cared enough to create a MBB thread and follow the game. I bet 80% of you didn’t even know we were playing tonight. Sad night in Cajun land. That’s next level not giving a flyin fock.
But I can see Marlin really p(i)ssed y’all off tonight!
It’s not the injuries, Mike. We were getting smoked before the injuries. We lack effort on defense. We look lost AGAIN offensively unless Cedric is making shots from the parking lot. The injuries are a convenient excuse at this point. Even with injuries, there’s no excuse to lose to LR at home, when you’re up by 13 in the second half.
We have got to stop letting this crap continue. We are losing the fanbase in droves. No one even cared enough to start a game thread. Have you ever seen that before? I haven’t.
Here’s a possible conflict.....
Right now, majority of fans are cashed out of the program mainly due to overall average results or our current predicament. But I’ll play the game and say that we hypothetically win next season because we have a fully healthy team (even though, in my opinion, I still thought we were a .500 team this season before the injuries occurred).
If that were to happen, would the fans come back at that point? Or are we at the point of no return? I was told that we might’ve had an ACTUAL attendance of 1500-2000 people last night. That’s a sign of no interest. So, I don’t know what the answer is. All I know is, like MAT said, we are in dangerous territory right now if we are planning for the future.
We had a 95% to win last night and we blew it lol
I’ve gotten past the point of being upset at results and now I’m just apathetic
Leaving last night no one was upset. I brought someone who has not been to a basketball game in ages. He didnt say anything until we got back to the car. He then said "I've been trying to figure out how you lose that game after being up 14 in the second half and the only thing I can come up with is Does not compute."
FWIW Warren Nolan now has us projected to be 2-18 in conference, with a projected RPI of 316.
Our current #s
RPI 284
NET 252
SOS 264
Thanks Bob.
Losing doesn’t kill your program.
Indifference does.
We are in big trouble. I hope Maggard understand this.
