We'll be at Walk ons @ 1pm Saturday. Come say hi.

Go to Prejean's. You deserve it. Rotolo's isn't in the category of Deano's. It's like saying you had a McDonald's hamburger last weekend... so you don't want a filet today.
We're going to help your QB out by pointing him to THE spot... the spot where a Cajun DB picks him. We'll end up in the end zone... a lot. Cajuns don't let Techsters end up in the end zone.
a joint with good local food, solid beer selection and tv's not just in the bar area is tricky, the last part being the deal breaker since everyone's wife gives you the look of death when the hostess says "is the bar ok?." walk on's...kind of the fat chick at 2am when the lights come on when it comes to local food but then again prejan's was the first option.
We may show up at the stadium hungry, but we won't be thirsty. Y'all will see us because we're not shy. (nor are we mean or insecure) Looking forward to shaking hands with a few of you. Y'all will be in much better spirits before the game. haha
I'm more confident that we'll dominate Tech than I am that we'll dominate ULM. You guys really need to stop believing that "avoiding" is synonymous with "surpassing". Why don't we use Tulane as a example. We beat them with a QB that had his hand in a cast. You guys lost to them (at home). What exactly does Tech have to brag about when it comes to football... lately? Do you really believe "embrace the suck" is going to flip your results this year?
I feel that you are delusional about what Skip Holtz is doing with your football program. You are not ULM... and you would lose to them.
GOOD LORD AMIGHTY, DON'T GO TO WALK-ONS. Food is just nasty, service is slow, and it's owned by a couple of L-State washouts who remind us of it every commercial they run.
Go to Prejeans, Don's Hut, or even Sakura, there are TVs behind the sushi bar and a few tables in front of it where you can sit with the wives.
Or how about this: just go to the tailgating area, look for TV screens. But don't get too close to anyone until you're sure you want what they're cooking, because they'll probably force feed you.
But you'll get beer, good food, and best of all, it will be free.
Ok, I'm probably scratching walk-ons off the list. I do know if my wife is down with bumming food at tailgates. I married WAY over my head. I do appreciate the input.
Years ago after Middle whupped our butts, I was talking with one of their fans, he said only one person had been rude to him the whole time he was in Lafayette. I asked him what happened.
He said, "I was walking by this tent, a guy slammed down a plate of food and said, 'You're eatin' this!'"
Just got home. Great time in Lafayette!
Based on your suggestions, we had lunch Bons Temps, and it was really good. Then, after the game we went to Deano's. That was one of the better pizzas I've ever had.
Thank y'all for pointing us in the right direction. Oh, and it's just a game...
We thought about Blue Dog for lunch, but they weren't open. With Deano's being so close to the stadium, we chose it for the postgame celebration--and they certainly came through (great food and service). I figured we'd win the game btw. That's why I predicted it... :)
