I had heard that this is the same reason why we do not charge for general parking inside the gates of Cajun Field on gamedays. We apparently do not want to make it affordable for attracting a crowd that may want to sue the school if they trip and fall in the parking lot. Forget the fact that they are parking for free on university property across the street and WALKING ACROSS ONE OF THE BUSIEST STREETS IN LAFAYETTE. Forget the fact that we park for free inside the parking lot for basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, and track and field. And let's not forget how we have MARDI GRAS PARADES and THRILL RIDES rolling through the property. Nope. Charging to park in the lot is too dangerous over all of the other things the lot offers.

Other than jokingly, or obviosly not serious, or recognizably wild talk... I've not heard anyone say he should be fired.
I have heard someone say if he retires they hope he waits till next year.

Numerous bowl wins, two (five really) new stadiums, freaking R1 status... talk about a lawsuit for being fired. You had a much better chance firing the big fish after March madness

It's been posted on here and other social media platforms. This is the exact quote to which I posed the original question, "The sooner Governor Landry can replace T-Slow after he takes office the better. The new president needs to clean house"

Ironically I recall a time in the HS catholic league when most of the best players were the honor students and student council leaders.... i was a classmate of one good player who went to rice on an academic scholarship and became a doctor, but did not play sports there.... now those type of schools are accused of illegal recruiting and overall academic success of athletes dwindle. ... maybe those on rp that are against private schools are just as guilty as martin hall

I can confirm this is false, because the Greek Dean went into the fraternity council meeting and said they were told by their hire ups to enforce all rules regarding drinking games. The way that I see this, is that their office started getting a whole bunch of calls and they decided to turn a blind eye.
The way I see all of this, is that since they couldn't get their way early on the semester, they are trying to shut down all the fraternities with false allegations. Just seems crazy how 3 of the 8 frats (who also happen to be the largest) get hit with the same "allegations" the same week. The 1 frat that got on Social Suspension, was due to an "unregistered event" that happened BEFORE homecoming week. But they decide to sanction them now (nearly 3 weeks after homecoming week).
Hope y'all could do some digging on this and help out the Greek community at UL."
It’s more than 3. Currently on C and D are Lamda Chi, Sigma Pi, Sigma Nu, KA, and PIKE.
