Stelly, Yuhasz, Amedee, Cuff should all be battling for playing time with young guys. None of the 4 have done nearly enough for what they’re supposed to be.

Agree Hermann and Theut are alphas dogs. C Mo is a dog. Offensively no dogs just puppies.

This chubby Aussie boy was by far their biggest cheerleader. He cheered more than their mommas in the stands. The dumb theatrics as he scored on the catchers 3-run homer made it known that he was special. He thought he was so fast when he was rounding 3rd. That was some comical sprinting. He definitely needs an ear shot.

So much worry about “alpha dogs”. I’ll take a diva that can hit a baseball right now.

As bad as we are with no fear throughout our lineup, we only had one error where Cuff thought he could catch the soft liner before it hit the ground and we still only lost by 1 run. The Troy players were elated and didn’t act like a Top 25 team. Remember, they are beatable as they were run ruled by Jacksonville State the other night.

And an against a team with 8 left handed hitters in the lineup. Tonight showed me that Holzhammer is not a starter. When you’re 93 mph in the first inning and 87-88 in the 3rd, you’re a reliever. Especially if you aren’t a guy like Herrman and you need your velo to be effective.

Of all weeks to not have Chase Morgan, and with Dylan Theut hobbled (hopefully he’s able to give some innings at some point this weekend, a series with 8 lefty hitters certainly isn’t the week

The hitting just is what it is. This team has to rely on reaching anyway they can, moving guys up, and getting them in. At some point that will turn around. There just isn’t anybody that’s gonna get you 2-3 runs with one swing on this roster.

Also, if #34 for Troy doesn’t wear at least one pitch each of the next two days, this team has no balls and there’s no doubt it’s gonna be a long season.

I agree with a lot of this, especially your point on Hermann. I really think we need a lot more from our veterans overall.

This team is average quality. I expect them to improve somewhat. I just hope they get more watchable whether they win or not. I am not sure how long I can watch this anemic offense. We can't hit a cows butt with a snow shovel. We can't bunt, steal a base or execute a hit n run. It is not good.

Said this last night, would be one thing if we were just getting beat but it’s borderline unwatchable.

That’s got to hurt attendance and the bottom line unwatchable. NIL money as well I give to the fund for baseball and will continue to do so no matter what but damn it looks bad.

The dam pitchcom gizmos work like crap. Nobody can hear rhe pitch calls. How long do they expect us to watch the 7, 8, 9 batters K on 3 pitches. LAWD A MIGHTY.

Last night was a close game and I knew after 4 innings we were done.

I thought I was watching a JV game when we played Southern. Just brutal

Bad approach at the plate. Absolutely no reason to be late on a 2-0 fastball at the belt, but we do it time and time again. Its like every pitch is a surprise. Its no secret Yuhasz can't hit a curveball but he continues to chase outside breaking balls in the dirt.
